The Pastoral Care committee supports the work of clergy and staff. The committee plans and implements a number of activities to enhance parish life including visits to hospitalized parishioners, home bound, keeping in touch with parish members unable to attend worship services or other church activities, support groups for those who lost a family member, regular prayer cycle notification and other parish life as deemed by clergy.

The Altar Guild is the ministry of preparing the sanctuary for worship. It is comprised of dedicated parishioners who take pride in caring for and maintaining the worship vessels and vestments of the parish. From laundering and ironing the linens to arranging the flowers, it is a ministry of joy and care. The work of the Guild is done largely “behind the scenes” by members who are faithfully on duty year-round. There are opportunities for parishioners of all ages to participate, especially the youth
St. Andrew's has a vibrant and dedicated group of acolytes. They help the priest perform various tasks during the worship service, which makes the flow and transition of liturgy appear seamless.
The youth of our parish are active in worship and meet regularly for discussion and fun activities. Our youth participate in Diocesan retreats, and musical training with a team of experienced and devoted youth advisors. Sunday school provides a nationally recognized Episcopal curriculum that is a Bible based learning experience for children of all ages. Our teachers are well-organized and support the children in a healthy environment.
The church has dedicated the third Sunday of every month as "Youth Sunday". This Sunday is dedicated to the youth, which they participate in the service as lay readers, ushers and acolytes.
Our Youth Ministry provides learning opportunities for all children and youth to develop in a safe, nurturing Christ-centered environment. All are encouraged to use their talent to serve God and the community.
The Ushers Guild ensures that parishioners and visitors are properly ushered in before or during church services. We honor our ushers for their volunteer services provided to the church. In 2 Kings 22:4 and Chronicles 9:17-27, the Bible says that the ushers were gatekeepers or doorkeepers. Throughout Jesus' ministry, the disciples can be considered as ushers as they kept the order among those who listened to his teachings.
The Music Ministry uplift the congregation, and to share the gospel of Jesus through traditional and contemporary music. Any parishioner with a talent for singing and playing an instrument is encouraged to join the choir.
Our Outreach Ministry reflects our commitment to service, compassion, and care beyond the walls of our Episcopal church. Parishioners are encouraged to use their talents to support the community and take part in meaningful work that reflects the love of Jesus Christ.
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Men (ECM) is an organization comprised of all men of St. Andrew’s age 18 and older. The men of St. Andrew’s unite to fellowship, worship and study for the spiritual growth of the parish. All members of ECM are encouraged to play an active role in promoting the work of our Lord.
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is an organization comprised of all women of St. Andrew’s age 18 and older united in fellowship of worship study, spiritual growth and service in the work of the parish. All Episcopal women are automatically members of ECW and are encouraged to play an active role in shepherding the work of our Lord.
The mission of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is to bring together all women by strengthening their spiritual lives (through prayer groups, retreats, fellowship hour), providing church related opportunities (engaging fellowship) and supporting the general work of the church community.
